As you can see, the clients had a tired and well used lounge which required updating.

Structural Modifications

Top priority was the need to address the outdated heating. The clients expressed a wish to have a gas fire installed and new radiators. This didn’t come easily as extensive modifications to the chimney were required. The end result was worth the hassle and expense.

Our Brief for this Interior Design and Refurbishment

My brief was to design a room which was both elegant and comfortable and could be used as a retreat in the evening and also for entertaining family and friends.
